Melanie Watson

Hey guys it’s Melanie. Coaching has been my passion for 16 years.  I love what I do and couldn’t ever imagine myself doing anything else.  I am an ACE certified Coach with a background in exercise nutrition.  I believe that in order to be bullet proof with your health journey, nutrition and exercise are both very important which is why I’ve spent much of my career educating myself on both.  I want to be as helpful as I possibly can to support my clients. There is truly no better feeling in the world than helping individuals become the best version of themselves and gain the confidence to live a full and healthy life.

I’m a mom to two beautiful girls and a wife to my amazing husband.  I come from a very large supportive family that has always encouraged me to take giant leaps in my life to leave my mark.  I can’t wait to see how many lives we are going to change here at THE All In Gym!  The best is yet to come!!

Laura Berry

Hi! I'm Laura. My husband Taylor and I have three amazingly wild & crazy boys who keep us very active. We love the beach and anything that involves the sunshine.

I'm also a celiac living, anxiety ridden, introvert!  All of those little "quirks" (because quirks sound much better than issues) aren't things that I openly share with people, but I can't share with you my journey as a trainer without mentioning them. Each of my...quirks...has led me, in some way, to my passion for health and fitness. In 2013, I was diagnosed with Celiacs Disease. Cue the health aspect of fitness. I LOVE food and I LOVE to eat (however, I hate to cook!). Going gluten-free forced me to rethink how and what I was eating to fuel my body. Exercise has been a hobby of mine for as long as I can remember (and also a great diversion for anxiety!). Deciding to become a certified personal trainer has allowed me to share my passion for exercise with others. I've been able to meet new people and create relationships that, as an introvert, I would have shyed away from. My goal is to instill a love for exercise in others in a fun and supportive community.

"Workout because you love your body, not because you hate it."

April Jacobson

Hi there I’m April! Wife and Mother of 3 beautiful children. Deven (25) a sound design graduate of Full Sail University, Cameron (19) currently majoring in criminal justice at the University of Lynchburg, and Jade (15) Sophomore at Manchester high school and full-time competitive swimmer at Quest.

I’ve spent the majority of my life in the sport of Artistic Roller Figure Skating, my mother from Germany my father from the United States, both former world champions.

I was literally born with wheels on my feet! I spent 20 years of my life as an amateur athlete following in my parents footsteps, becoming a National, Pan-American, and 3 time World champion in the sport.

I continued on becoming a USA Roller Sports/ Safe Sport certified coach teaching athletes ranging from the age of 3 to 75 years old. Two of my children competed, both achieved National titles one continuing the family legacy becoming a 2 time world champion.

Through these adventures my own health and fitness had gone to the wayside and I found myself in declining health. I sought out a fitness routine, and early on I saw wonderful results! Soon my health was trending upward, and I felt a true passion for fitness blossoming. I was energized by the people around me and quickly realized I had a growing passion! One day after class I was approached by an instructor/ personal trainer who thought I would be a perfect candidate to become a certified Les Mills instructor.

And so my fitness career began!

I accepted the challenge becoming certified in 3 modalities of the Les Mills program, BODYSTEP, BODYPUMP, and GRIT series HIIT.

Through the Les Mills program I met many amazing instructors all who taught me how to expand my knowledge of human movement. Through a fellow trainer I was recruited for a coaching position at Orangetheory fitness, I am not a fan of running so it took a bit of convincing before I accepted the new challenge!

Les Mills was a phenomenal program but I wanted to get more personal with people along their journey. I went on to spend 4 years with the Orangetheory Fitness team expanding my knowledge of heart rate based training, the art of rowing, weight training, and the business side of fitness as the Studio Manager.

Again a wonderful workout however, I was made of a different fabric.

Devine intervention brought me through the doors of All In Gym and has now allowed me the opportunity to further expand my fitness journey and become a personal trainer under the guidance and knowledgeable hand of Mel! I am excited and honored to work alongside this amazing team of coaches and the amazing family of All In!

My goal is to help people love each step they take in their fitness journey, and to help you find your “inner athlete”.

“Athleticism is NOT an “Aesthetic” (it’s NOT how you look) it’s a Feeling, it’s a Mindset, it’s the way you Show Up, it’s Perseverance when you don’t want to go and you go anyway…that’s “Athleticism” and when you persevere (at anything) YOU’RE an ATHLETE!”
